My name is P-O Gråd and I was born and raised in Stockholm, Sweden, where I still live. I have been into photography since the early seventies. Over the years I have used 35-mm format as well as medium format, but now I have passed on to digital photography exclusively. Before the digital age I preferably worked with black and white material, and I developed and copied the photos myself. With the entry of the digital technology the computer has taken over the part af the dark room. I still like doing black and white images, but today this is mostly done in the computer.

My subject areas cover a wide range of motifs, but nature motifs like landscapes and close-ups are my favourite subjects. Barren nature, like for instance the Scandinavian mountain world, mountain scenery and coastal land are the kinds of nature that I feel most at home with.
